Plot:

Strait Jaket is about a time when magic and technology become real and people start to use magic in all their work, they use magic in medicine , for army and all this comes to a price , after using magic for a long time people transform in demons , huge monsters that kill everyone around them . This “ malediction “ affects  suddenly and people don’t know how to fight against it beside eliminating  the monsters . Teams of high power sorcerists fight against them , the so called “ strait jackets” , they have in their power magic guns and magic armor , even so this people risk to transform in monster themselves , fighting against monsters . An undercover gang of terrorists starts different accidents to make people transform in monsters , when government can’t handle this anymore one of their department workers  Mary Simmons finds Leiot Steinberg , an unlicensed sorerist  to save people from loads of monsters that appear everyday in the city. Who is this Leiot Steinberg ( Lion / Rayotte ) and why is  he fighting agains monsters , what is his past , you can find out by watching this anime. It has a nice plot , a little bit of horror a little bit of detective , magic and science fiction , even mecha . The design of the characters is ok as the background .
If you are a fan of badass unhero type guys killing monsters this is what you looking for .

Plot: The story is about  a mysterious boy Nai that is searching for his friend Karoku , Nai is a helpless child and some dark organization wants to use him . In his adventure Nai meets Gareki , the young robber  pity little Nai and tries to help him escape from a monsters that follow him , in the most desperate moment they are being saved by a powerful organization Circus . This organization works as an undercover circus but in truth they hunt and destroy different monsters created by a secret organization called Kafka ( somehow it reminds me of Kafka the writer and his monster people stories) . The anime has very nice drawing , original and colorful scenes , a lot of action and fun . If you love fantasy , magical heroes and beautiful characters , here even most of the villains look good this is what are you looking for .

Nai/ Circus

Nai - Nai is a white hair child with red eyes , his provinience is mysterious but he seems to be genetically related to an rare animal “ neji” . Nai is hunted by Kafka organization for his abilities . Nai is very naïve , he doesn’t  know much about life and things surrounding him because he grew isolated on an island and never seen anyone else beside his mentor and potential creator Karoku .

Gareki

Gareki is an orphan teen that grew in a small village , he see the world in dark colors and is very vengeful toward rich villains so he robs their houses . In one of his missions he meets Nai and for some reason a strong friendship starts between them, in some way it is a little inexplicable but considering Gareki life and his past  that’s doesn’t seem so impossible for him to help a naïve and helpless Nai. Gareki is very skilful , form childhood he can make different mechanisms and bombs .

Tsukumo /Circus

Tsukumo is one of the cutest girls in Circus , she is Hirato subordinate , she is very good at fighting and an amazing acrobat . Ivi lovers her very much . Tsukumo usually is not very emotional and acts as everything is her duty , most of time she wears pink and doesn’t smile much . 

Hirato/ Circus

Iva / Circus 

Eva (Iva) Is one of most glamorous and beautiful ladies in the Circus , even so she is very strong and fiery . In critical moments she can be very aggressive and violent toward Yogi , especially when he doesn’t  accomplish his missions or is acting careless .

Yogi / Circus

Yogi is one of the cutest and most funny character in Karnaval , even he is 21 years old he acts as a child , he is very kind and compassionate . Most of time he wears a cat yellow costume "Niam Perona" and welds a rapira ( there is something  related to personage cat in boots ) . He is very sweet and always gives candy to children.

Akari / Circus

 Akari is the doctor in the circus crew , he is always very serious and grumpy , sometimes he likes to scary others around him , especially Yogi, but in reality he is very kind and in the moment when they want to make experiments on Nai he defends him . He seems to dislike Hirato or at least they have some kind of torn between them .

Jiki/ Circus

Jiki is a scientist working for Circus , he is not very good in combat , he likes Tsukumo but it is very shy to tell her about this.

Kiichi - she is very vain and always competes with Tsukumo.

Plot : The story begins with Ai Tanabe , a young girl that was selected to work in cosmos in the debris section . Tanabe was very happy to work in cosmos , it was her dream but when she seen her coworkers and place where she must work her excitement vanished , especially when Hachimaki one of the coworkers fell on her dressed in space diapers. The plot of this anime has many touching moments a lot of romance and funny characters that make the watcher smile or feel their sorrow or excitement . This anime depicts in a very realistic way the travel and life in cosmos , no aliens and super heroes just simple people and their dream to conquer space .
The style of drawing is simple but with good taste , lovely colors and warm light make you feel the atmosphere and work well with the rest of the action. If you want to see a relaxing anime with a good plot , not much violence , a little romance and space ships this is what you looking for .

Plot: The story starts with moments from the past , a Japanese noble house without children adopts a little boy after they get their own child the family wants to get rid of their foster child . The scene changes to latter events a ronin Akitsu Masanosuke looses his job as a bodyguard , he is a very skilled samurai but he is to kind and shy , he doesn’t look very scary or confident so he can’t find a decent job. One day Akitsu  meets a strange man Yaichi , he is very impressed by the confident and careless look of this man . Yaichi asks Akitsu to join his group “ Five Leaves house “ as a bodyguard . Yaichi is a cleaver man and see that behind this shy man apparence hides a very skilled swordsman . At start Akitsu doesn’t want to enter in this dubious gang and work in different dubious affairs , mostly kidnapping ans asking ransome from rich and corrupted politicians , but in time he agrees and even befriends with Yaichi .

 This anime has a less cheerful drawing style , it is more simple and original in a way , it has a strange warm atmosphere , relaxing ,  like a never ending  golden autumn.

Main Characters : 

Akitsu Mananosuke – a melancholic samurai without a job that get’s involved in a thief gang called “ Five Leaves “ . Because of his nature he can’t find a job or make friends , he is lonely and poor , his looks don’t correspond with his job description and people can’t see at first sight how truly he is . Akitsu enters in the Five leaves gand mostly because he admires the leader Yaichi and his free and strong personality , but also he wants to gain a friend in this mysterious man , he is looking in Yaichi for something that he is missing in his own personality.

Yaichi / House of Five Leaves

Yaichi  - mysterious leader of “ Five leaves” , he hides his past , even so from the flashbacks we can figure out that in the past he was the adopted child in a rich family , he been disposed when he became useless . Yaichi seems carefee  and always confident but there is a feeling that he sees himself in Akitsu , the child that believed in his teacher and failed . Sometimes he can be even cruel and merciless but even so he has a soft spot that he tries to hide as he hides his past . He is very loved by women and he is very generous with them.

Matsukichi – a rober that works for Five leaves , he once been saved by Yaichi and feels very grateful for this . Matsukichi works as a pipe an hair pin maker as his undercover , he spy in different rich spoiled house for their future missions , he is clever and sneaky .

Otake  - is a beautiful women with a dark past  , she is a geisha that once been bought out by Yaichi , now she works for “Five leaves” . She usually walks around collecting leaves for their ransome letters .

Umezou – he is the owner of a tavern and another member of the Five leaves , he has a lovely daughter and is in love with Otake . He has a very brute character but a big heart . He doesn’t trust much Yaichi and thinks Akitsu is to soft hearted and naïve .

Plot : The story starts with a monk  Myoe (Yakushimaru) , this monk has the ability to give life to his drawings , everything he draws becomes reality . He lives alone on a mountain and all his days are empty and lonely , his only companion is his lovely yellow dog . Once he made a sketch of a rabbit  and named it Koto . Koto as all his drawings had his own life and loved her master , the little black rabbit with red eyes adored the lonely monk and always prayed to be loved by her master . A goddess granted  her wish and lend her body to Koto until her love will be returned by the monk . Koto turned in a beautiful silver hair lady and started to live with monk , he sketched three children for them Yase ( a blonde cute girl that looks like an elf and dreams to be a demon ) . Kurama a little priest that always meditate and get’s irritated when his other two siblings make pranks. Yakushimaru  a little samurai like dressed kid that is always very serious and lazy in some way he resembles Myoe character . Myoe and Koto are forced to move in a virtual world because other monks and people don’t like them, after a while Koto is forced to return in the real world to give back the body she  been given . Yakushimaru takes place of Myoe in the virtual world , that’s why somebody could get frustrated why there are two Myoe . The three children are now waiting their  parents in the virtual perfect world where usually nothing bad happens. In this moment the second story appears about a little girl Koto she has same name as the black rabbit , she is orphan and a monk is her mentor the image of Myoe on the other side . Koto resembles Alice in the Wonderland and always try to follow the black rabbit and find the secret behind it , she wants to meet her mother . At the first sight the anime might seem to have a pretty complicated plot ,it gets twisted and twisted but there are always feelings and emotions hiding under , this anime has a drop of romance , a drop of kindness and mystery , somebody might not understand it , somebody might find it fascinating and interesting , it has also funny simple moments that could make you cheerful . I do believe there should be more explanation in the start of this story or may be this is the secret that makes it so mysterious , sometimes the overload of mystery might kill the interest of a certain category of watchers.

The background and the style of characters changes in dependence of the reality they share , some of it is pretty original, it definitely has something that brings it out from the lot.

Yase - the bond demon girl , she been drawn by Myoe as one of his children with Kuro. Later she is shown up as grown up demon girl , this mean something changed in their perfect world since they should not have been grown in their ideal balanced world.

Kurama, one of the Myoe children , he always dreams to return and see the real world again .

Yakushimaru one of the three children on Myoe , very responsable , he never understands his father jokes .

Plot : The anime is about a young samurai Kuro that is forced to save his life from his older brother . He runs in the woods with his servant Benkei . Kuro is a very well skilled swordsman and he escapes from the people following him , he has a bad fiver and is forced to stop and rest in a mysterious house in the woods . The owner of this place is a very beautiful women Kuromitsu . But this women is not to simple as Kuro thinks , she has the gift of immortality and because of this she is followed and hunted by a Red Organization , this organization followers seek to discover the secret of immortality . Kuro finds out the dark secret of this women but even so he falls in love with her and during all anime he is searching for her.
 Kuromitsu shared her immortality with Kuro but his servant Benkei betrayed him and cut of his head . The place of action moves to a post apocalyptic city where Kuro wakes up after he regenerates himself . The plot evolves into a war between different organizations that seek power and want to use Kuromitsu blood . Kuro is forced to fight and die several times , the plot is very twisted in this moment , I guess this is main problem of this anime , is changes so fast that at some moment it is difficult to keep track of the main idea , also it has some time and plot discrepancy . Even if there are many points in this anime the biggest interest is held by the romance between Kuromitsu and Kuro and their desperate fight to be together .
The desing of the characters is pretty interesting , there is a lot of action but also violence as in samurai Japanese anime usually is . The music and the way of how characters move reminds of kabuki theatre .

Kuro/ Kurozuka

Kuro : Young samurai that gets imprisoned by his desperate love for the vampire immortal women named Kuromitsu . He is noble and kind , even he fights a lot of red organization soldiers he is not even capable to step on a flower in a field that is loved by his beautiful Kuromitsu . Most of time he seems lost because of the huge changes around him even so he is determined to follow his heart anywhere . Also it seems that Kuro has some power to see fatal moments from his future , sometimes he can see his death and escape it. Is it a dream or a prophecy , will he take again this mysterious path of this fate or change his way.

Kuromitsu 

Kuromitsu : a very beautiful women that was granted immortality long time ago by an unknown to her man . She can be twisted and cruel sometimes but she can also be romantic and kind . She loves flowers and nature and looks with disgust at people that destroy it . Kuromitsu loves Kuro with all her being and tries to protect him in all ways she can . Since Kuro lost his real body she is in the search of a substitution , it seems that after a while the bodies become week and doesn’t regenerate .

Benkei: Benkei is Kuro servant , monk form Musashi , he is obsessed with his master Kuro , at some point he goes mad seeing himself and wanting to be Kuro . Kuro is his ideal , but also he betrays his master in his madness because he wants to surpass him , take his place and be loved by Kuromitsu . His feelings are twisted and understandable .
