The story starts with Balsa a 30 year old bodyguard women from Kanbal that saves the
life of a prince and is invited to palace . There the Imperator wife asks her
to protect her little sun that is in danger and take him
with her , so the story begins. Balsa the main hero of the story is very
different in her beliefs from other story heroes , even from the start the way
she accepted the queen offer describes
her as a wise and cold thinking woman . Everybody believes that prince Chagum has a bad spirite growing inside him and his own father condams him to death. Chagum and Balsa now have to run away from imperator assassin and save their life.

Balsa saves and keeps the prince alive because she feels in debt , she wants to save eight people so her past would be forgiven, eight people died when she was rescued as a child from spear guard. Later in the story appear other characters that help her like Tanda , an old childhood friend that seems to like " love " Balsa . Balsa never takes somebody life in battle she always tries to use her weapon in such way so she would escape without killing somebody. She knows that in order to save Chagum life she must forget about herself and become his mother . The story has a lot of undercover ideias , like the moment they started to live in a water mill .
