Plot:
Nicoletta a young girl that been raised by her grandmother wants to meet her mother and tell everyone the truth about herself . She travels to Rome and goes
strait to the Casetta dell’Orso ( Bear’s den) restaurant , owned by her mother new husband .
Her mother all this years hide from her husband the fact that she had a daughter
, being afraid that he might dump her . After a some events Nicoletta is convinced by her mother
not to tell the truth to Lorenzo Orsini ( her current husband). Nicoletta falls
in love with one of the waiters Claudio and asks her mother to get a job as a cooking
apprentice , so the story begins . This anime has no supernatural heroes ,
extraordinary events just pure romance and usual life personages , even so
their story is very touching , completed by their nature and color . The some
of the backgrounds of this anime are very charming , made in pastel colors ,
this makes it very pleasant to watch .
Ristorante Paradiso Characters:
Nicoletta , Ristorante Paradiso ( watching evening Rome)
Nicoletta - A girl around her 20’s that comes to Rome to meet her mother
. She is very natural , lovely and sometimes get’s lost in her wishes like a
normal young girl in a new ambiance . Nicoletta been raised by her grandmother
so she cooks not bad . With the help of her mother she starts to work at
Casetta dell’Orso . She is very ambitious and dreams to make a career , to be successful
as a normal young girl would dream but in the same time she puts her romantic
feelings for Claudio ( a waiter from restaurant she works ) on first place “
nothing is more important then her feelings now “, even so she is afraid of
them and sometimes unsecure .
Olga – Nicoletta mother . She is a blonde , very beautiful
women that works in an advocate company and is very successful . Olga divorced
her Nicoletta father long time ago , after a while she meet Lorenzo Orsini and
fall in love with him , she was afraid that he might not get married with her
if he would know about her previous marriage , so she hides the fact that she
has a daughter. Even so she tries to help her child in need , sometimes she
seems selfish , sometimes she seems just a simple mother .
Santo Claudio Paradiso -
is a waiter at Casetta dell’Orso .
Claudio is a very gentile and kind man , from the moment he meets Nicoletta he
always tries to gentile with her , he feels like her life is very similar to
his ( especially after he finds out she is Olga’s daughter) . He can’t get over
his past marriage with Gabrielle ,
another successful women that works with Olga in the same advocate office .
Claudio is in big dilemma when Nicoletta appears in his life , he is also
concerned is it right because he is much older then her and he can’t understand his own feelings yet.
Luciano de Luca - he
is a waiter at Casetta dell’Orso also , his wife died long time ago but he
still keeps her memory alive . Most of his time he seems harsh to Nicoletta but
he is really concerned about her like a
father , somehow he always tries to talk to Claudio and protect Nicoletta
feelings . He is a very attentive grandfather and loves to read newspaper.
Lorenzo Orsini – Lorenzo is current Olga husband , he is a cheerful
man , but also very enigmatic . He is the owner of Casetta dell’Orso and half brother
with Gian Orsini ( Gigi). He adores his wife and in spite all her past he
accepts her . He is very kind to Nicoletta and everyone from his restaurant workers.
Vito , Ristorante Paradiso
Vito – another waiter at Casetta dell’Orso . He is tall bald
and very cheerful , he has a very young wife so everyone keeps joking about it.
Nicoletta and Gian Orsini ( Gigi)
Gian Orsini ( Gigi) He is half brother to owner of the
restaurant . He doesn’t talk to much so Nicoletta is very surprised when he approves
her pasta .He is currently single and younger then others so Olga thought that Nicoletta might be interested in him more then in Claudio.
Furio ,Ristorante Paradiso chef
Furio – He is the chef of the restaurant and a very kind man
. He loves cooking and wears fake glasses just to keep working at Casetta dell’Orso.
He adores his wife Angela.
Gabriella – Claudio ex’ wife and a very successful women ,
works in the same office with Olga , Nicoletta mother and they seem to be very
close friends . She often visit Casetta dell’Orso and pains Claudio . She seem
very cold to him but her feelings are quite a mystery , may be she loves
knowing that her ex-husband is still interested in her.
Teo- he is a young cheerfull chef at the restaurant , he is
talented and flirty , sometimes there is a felling that he likes Nicoletta even
he doesn’t show it much .
